Date/Time: Saturday, April 25, 2026 – 2:00pm to 3:00

Location: Albuquerque Museum – 2000 Mountain Rd NW, Albuquerque, NM 87104

Detention Nation is a multimedia art and activist project by the Sin Huellas artist collective that confronts the mass incarceration of immigrants in U.S. detention centers through sculpture, photography and video. Join artists Delilah Montoya and Deyadira Arellano of Sin Huellas, alongside local immigrant advocates, for a conversation exploring art as a tool for political intervention, community engagement, and advocacy. The discussion will also address ongoing efforts to defend immigrant rights in New Mexico.
