Giant Waste of Man is a band of lifers. Hailing from vaunted projects of the 2010s Los Angeles eastside scene, Summer Darling, Kissing Cousins, and QunQ, et al., GWoM performs visceral indie rock inspired by late 90s and early aughts guitar bands. Their sophomore album, Biographer, released in 2022, garnered critical praise. This year, the band has already released “Gaeta,” the minimalist and menacing first single from their forthcoming third LP, with three more singles planned before the album in 2025.
